Sometimes creating something pretty requires some gorgeous fabric.... and the simplest of designs.
A simple envelope back cushion cover made from Amy Butler's Love Paradise Garden in Midnight.
And the back with a little binding (Sunspots) which picks up the turquoise dots....
... in the Paradise Garden fabric and emphasises the fact that the fabric pattern isn't meant to match precisely.
Simple, bright, gorgeous and took less than an hour to make.
Happy Sewing!
Oh I reeeeeally like this fabric!!
Got to pay the electric bill first but then......................

Oooooh - that fabric was just made for cushions - I love that you've kept the cover really simple to let the pattern shine! The 'accent' cushions on my sofa look a bit worse for wear, so think I'll re-cover them. Should only take a couple of hours - it's just picking the fabric takes soooo much longer (but is secretly my fave bit!). Hugs, Jen xxx

That looks very striking and I also love the spots on the back.

Your right it's gorgeous.
The large print works really well and I love the use of spots.
