They are a necessary evil but that's it. I'm happy to wander through life subscribing to the Mr Micawber school of economics...
"Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery. " (from Charles Dickens' David Copperfield)Simplicity, that's the key as far as I'm concerned. Does this mean I'm doomed? (You have to say that loudly, preferably in a cave to get the proper booming effect.) Probably not, but it is a little stressful, all these numbers jigging about. My poor fingers and and toes are really quite sore. But do you remember this little lady;
Hilda has herself a new home and using the random number selector, Hilda is going to Kitty. So, Kitty if you'd like to e-mail me your address I'll send Hilda over to see you. Maybe over Christmas you may even get time to 'make' her. You never know....
i will be joining you with the accounting, it's one of the jobs lined up for over christmas, yuk!

Hi! Congratulations to the winner!
Oh those accounts/folders looks familiar. I am an Accountant by day and Mum/Crafter in the evenings/weekends. I have to say that I haven't even started on my own accounts yet, I have until the 31 January 2009.

I was doing my books this weekend too ~ such a tedious job! I still have a pile of paper to tackle, but at least it is a bit smaller now...
