Yay! - Look what arrived in the post....

I received some gorgeous patterns in the post today. I can't believe it! I only ordered them on the 4th March and it's only the 11th today. They're from Nicole Mallalieu Design - Australia (www.nicolemdesign.com.au). I keep coming across her designs through a blog written by an extremely crafty lady, Thornberry also based in Australia. Anyway, I couldn't keep resisting. Sometimes I think when I get in a rut with what I'm making and how I make 'stuff' a pattern for something that you don't usually make is a way of getting the old creative juices flowing again. The patterns are printed on nice sturdy paper, not flimsy old tissue paper which i like to start with. The instructions are really clear too with lots of diagrams. I love the way that the 'variations' which you see on the pattern envelope back are also explained and not just of pictures promising lots and leaving you to it. I've got high hopes of really enjoying this. I'll let you know how it goes. Stay safe - don't get blown away. Tonight looks as if it's going to be blowy.
