A Swap...

So, after completing my first ever swap (The Christmas Decoration swap organised by Indigo Blue ) I've joined in with another... so I must be becoming a seasoned veteren ... well, alright maybe I need to take part in a few more before I can say that but I got a such lot of enjoyment out of that first swap, that I've been looking for another.

This one has been organised by Vonnie of Adventures of a lady in training, and it involves one of my very favourite things in life, Tea. It's called the 'Time for Tea Swap'.

I love my tea. Tea at anytime of the day. I'm not too fussed what kind it is either, although I prefer stronger teas and when it comes to herbal teas I'm not keen on cammomile... reminds me too much of the smell of chicken runs. Probably, because as a child the chicken run had cammomile growing around the perimeter and if ever the chickens had been scratching it up .... the smell used to be unbelievably strong.

The swap involves the following;

A time for tea-related handmade item Tea (loose tea, tea bags - or if you’re not a tea fan, hot chocolate?) Something your swapping partner can use in a crafty fashion

.. I can't wait to see how everyone interprets this - should be fun.

'The Time for Tea Swap' has given me an excuse to sew.... but I can't show you any photographs yet because I want it to be a surprise for my swap partner. I was being quite proud of myself for being well within the deadline when she e-mailed at the weekend asking if I was ready yet.... oh! so nearly.

I just hope she's not disappointed with the little bit of extra waiting.....
